Actress, Pageant Queen and TV Hostess. She was born in Houston, TX, but spent most of her life in Colombia, for which she was elected to represent in Miss Universe 1991 (where she was crowned as the second most beautiful woman). She has appeared in many Colombian TV series, such as "Hola Paola" and "Ecomoda". In 2005 she appeared in the Colombian version of "Dancing With the Stars". Finally, she has participated in movies, such as "El amor en los tiempos del Colera" (2008), based on the famous Gabriel Garcia Marquez's book, and in "Lenny, the Wonder Dog". She now stars as Cindy Lee in the hit TV show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager".
