Josie Bissett began her career modeling in the United States and Japan, which led to appearances in numerous commercials and then to acting roles on "Quantum Leap," "Doogie Howser, M.D." and "Parker Lewis on FOX. She played Cara on "The Hogan Family" for two seasons and has also had starring roles in the television movies "Danielle Steels' Secrets'," "Posing," "Deadly Vows" and "Dare to Love."

Her feature film credits inlcude "The Doors," "Book of Love" and a lead role in "Mikey." Born in Seattle on October 5, Bissett resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Rob Estes (Kyle), and son Mason Tru. Josie Bissett was chosen in 1996 as one of People magazines 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. At the moment, she plays the role of Kathleen Bowman on ABC Family's hit TV series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager".
